Burning From Running

Imagine a situationship- one where you poured your entire soul, mind, and body into it to ensure this didn't end, but never had that same effort reciprocated.

I wrote this poem with my face coated in tears, attempting to understand what happened & process everything. Now, I look back at this poem and am overwhelmed with gratitude for this experience because it brought me to where I am now. I hope this speaks to you in some way, and thanks for reading :)
